While on the Oxford Listening Tour, Terence stops for a photo.

Over the past two months, Terence Farrell has been traveling to communities throughout Chester County visiting with residents and business owners.

“I’ve been able to travel to communities like Phoenixville and Oxford and find out exactly what it is that the people in the community are looking for in their county government,” Farrell said. “I’ve met business owners, municipal officials, and non-profit leaders and I’m learning what I can do as a Commissioner to help improve the quality of life here in Chester County.”

Terence stops in at La Sicilia in downtown Oxford.

“As your Commissioner, I’m committed to doing whatever it takes to make our communities the most prosperous in the region. Whether it’s through economic development, the preservation of open space, or supporting the important work of non-profit agencies, our Commissioners have an important role to play.”

Recent tours took Farrell to Oxford, Kennett Square, Phoenixville, and Tredyffrin.

Gerry Lenfest and a matching donation of 500 acres by Chester County, the preserve will be maintained by an endowment overseen by the Natural Lands Trust.

"This is a win-win situation," said Commissioners' Chair Carol Aichele.  Aichele and Farrell are committed to open space preservation and support the efforts of organizations like the Natural Lands Trust.  For more information, please visit www.AicheleFarrell.com
