Kids Fair, the Kids should be Kids'
Kids

(Pictured at the Chester and Delaware County Kids' Fun Fair (left to right): Commissioner Candidate Terence Farrell, Sheriff Bunny Welsh,
and State Senator Dominic Pileggi)

Terence Farrell joined State Senator Dominic Pileggi at the Chester and Delaware County Kids' Fun Fair held recently at Lincoln University in Southern Chester County. "The Fun Fair was a great success," said Farrell, one of two Republican candidates to win the May 15th Primary and move on to the General Election taking place November 6th. The other candidate is Commissioners' Chairwoman Carol Aichele, seeking re-election. "The Fair drew people from all over the southern part of the County. Dominic is to be complimented for taking such an active role in reaching out to his constituents."

The annual event was free for children and their families and offered a fun-filled day that included clowns, face-painting, and representatives from the Philadelphia Zoo and Franklin Institute on hand to present interactive educational experiences for all.

"I was particularly pleased to see that Lincoln University was chosen as the site for this event," said Farrell. "I grew up here, my parents taught here and this event was a great opportunity for kids and their families to play and learn together. My parents instilled in me the importance of being a life-long learner, and these families are starting out on the right path, playing and learning together. Simply put, it was a great event."

Farrell and Aichele will face at least two opponents in the fall election for County Commissioner. To volunteer, or to find out more about the campaign, please visit www.TerenceFarrell.com.

Register of Wills Opens Satellite Office in Kennett Square
NewOffice

The Chester County Register of Wills, Paula Gowen, has opened a new satellite office in Kennett Square. Shown cutting the ribbon at the grand opening are (left to right): Paula Gowen, Register of Wills; Amanda Ross, Deputy Director, Register of Wills; Sheriff Bunny Welsh; Daniel Maisano, Magisterial District Judge 15- 3-04; Chairman of the Chester County Commissioners, Carol Aichele; Terence Farrell, Recorder of Deeds; and Anna Rivera, Translator, Register of Wills office.

Terence Farrell and Carol Aichele, both candidates for County Commissioner, joined other local officials and Register of Wills staff in attending the recent ribbon cutting ceremony. The new office will serve Southern Chester County residents by appointment, giving them an alternative to traveling into West Chester to conduct business with the Register of Wills office.

"Keeping all of our County residents in mind will be at the heart of our administration as Commissioners," commented Farrell, "Carol and I want to offer other services and meetings in various County locations, so as to offer more residents better access to basic government services."
